A typical day at Swing Summit
- You wake up to the wonderful view of the Ardeche mountains to have a common breakfast between 09:00 – 09:45.
- After your morning coffee and an energizing breakfast, you walk over to your first dance class from 10:00 – 11: 30.
- Between 11:30 and 12:30, you have time to either practice the new material or to quickly hop into the pool.
- At 12:30, you have your second Lindy class (1.5 hrs) of the day.
- At 14:00, you’ll be sitting under the sun shade sail of the outdoor dining place, enjoying lunch together with your (new) friends.
- Around 15:00, we open the afternoon social dance with coffee, tea, and cookies.
- After the social dance you have 2 hours to hang out and chill at the pool.
- Between 18:00 – 20:00, it’s time for the evening bonus classes.
- Your well-earned dinner is served at 20:00.
- After dinner, we have another practice time, where you get a chance to practice the day’s class material together with your friends and teachers.
- Finally, the evening ends with a social dance that typically continues until 01:00.
- Naturally, this schedule can change depending on the weather conditions. If we happen to have colder days, we will dance more, and when it’s warm again a bit less to even it out and give you more pool time.
- Evey Tuesday, we make a trip to a nearby market where you can buy local delicacies.
- On Thursday nights, the social goes on longer as there is live music.
- On Friday, we will sleep a bit longer to recover from the long Thursday party
and have a late breakfast.
- Friday night is the “Cabaret” night – the teachers and you will present shows and bust their best moves on the last party night.
