The most important tip: once you received our confirmation of your registration, booking your flights & trains quickly will save you a good deal of money!
By Flight and / or Train:
Paris/France has a big international airport named Charles de Gaulle (CDG). You can get flight tickets to CDG. From their integrated transport hub you can directly hop on the TGV high speed trains that takes you to Valence TGV train station (the nearest train station).
Other destination options are Lyon, Grenoble, Marseille, and Montpellier (Ryanair!). We recommend you to check for low-budget airlines from your nearest airport to any of these French destinations. Once you’re in France, it is easiest to continue by train to get to Valence.
We will offer a shuttle service from Valence / TGV and Valence / Centre Ville to Ferme les Costes and back. The price is 10 € per person / trip. If you want to use our shuttle service, please make sure that your arrival / departure times are between 10:00 and 17:00 o’clock. The trip from Valence to les Costes takes about 1.5 hours, so we will try to pick up several dancers on each trip. This means that you might have to wait for a few hours if we have to pick up a participant arriving later. Thank you for your understanding!
The nearest train station is VALENCE. Valence has a “regular” train station in the city center and a high-speed train station 10 km outside the city. To check for the high speed trains – they are called TGV – select Valence TGV station as your destination. If you book ahead of time, the French train company SNCF has good offers for train tickets. Here’s their English website:

It is possible to rent a car or take the bus to get from Valence to the Ferme les Costes (1.5 hrs).
BY CAR
Once you are south of Lyon (direction Marseille), you will have to take the exit to Tain l’Hermitage/Tournon. In Tournon, follow the direction “Lamastre”. Once you arrived in Lamastre, follow the signs for “Le Cheylard” until you reach a little village called Les Nonières. Here, you go to the D241 direction St. Julien Labrousse/Chalencon. After 2 km you will arrive at a huge white cross. Next to it you see a small road to Les Costes. Drive down that small road, and you successfully arrived!
The co-ordinates for your navigation system: +44.91963°, +4.48266°
P.S. there is another town named Nonieres close to Grenoble , so mind the postal code 07160!
P.P.S. We are happy to help you organize car-sharing!
This is where you’ll stay… you can even see the pool : )
